Welcome to BettingInNH

An independent guide to legal sports betting, daily fantasy, charitable gaming, and horse racing in New Hampshire — and how this site reads the market.

New Hampshire is one of the most unusual sports betting markets in the United States. A single licensed operator — DraftKings Sportsbook — holds the entire mobile and retail sportsbook market under an exclusive state contract. At the same time, daily fantasy sports and horse race wagering are wide open, with multiple licensed operators competing freely.

BettingInNH exists to map that landscape honestly: what is legal, who is licensed, what the rules actually say, and where the real betting opportunities are. We are not a sportsbook, we do not accept wagers, and we publish under clear editorial principles.

What you’ll find here

What we will not do

We will not pretend there are choices that don’t exist. There is exactly one legal mobile sportsbook in New Hampshire. We will not pad recommendations with offshore operators or run comparison tables that imply otherwise.

We will also not promote products that are not legal here. Online casino is not licensed in NH. “Crypto casinos” advertising to NH residents are operating outside the law. You will not see those promoted on this site.

What’s next

We publish handle and revenue updates as the NH Lottery Commission releases them, plus seasonal previews around the major NH betting events — the USA TODAY 301 at Loudon, the Patriots season opener, NHL trade deadlines, and March Madness selection Sunday.
